以训诂为钥,解《孙子兵法》“势”字疑案

Taking Explanations of Chinese Characters in Ancient Books as the Key to Interpret the Suspicious Case of “Energy” in The Art of War

现代学者对"形"的注释大体上已取得共识,然而对"势"的解读,却还是众说纷纭。原因一是模糊于曹操的模棱,二是迷失于《康熙字典》的误导。在《势》篇中,"势"字出现了9次,逐一给每一处"势"字以新的解释,并阐述新解所内含的意义,就可使孙子军事思想顺利地回到原点。

Scholars of the modern times have reached common understanding on the interpretation of ＂dispositions＂. However, there are still a lot of disputes concerning the interpretation of ＂energy＂. The first reason lies in Cao Cao＇s ambiguity. The second reason lies in the misguide of Kangxi Dictionary. In the chapter of Energy, the character ＂energy＂ is mentioned nine times. Making interpretation of the ＂energy＂ one by one and interpreting the new meaning it contains, we can make Sun Zi＇s military thinking return to its initial point.
