The irreducible representations of D rinfeld doubles D （Dn） of group algebras groups of order 2n is studied, where the base Held k is an algebraically closed Held w ith char（k）not dividing 2n .The simple Yetter -Drinfeld modules over the group algebras kDn are described andclassitied.
