Preface of Chen Anjian Transport Teahouse Gallery’s Works

艺术家陈安健1959年生于重庆,毕业于中国当代艺术史上极负盛名的四川美院油画系77、78级,但他并未将自己置身于时代的浪潮中,却守着川美校门外一家地道的重庆老茶馆——“交通茶馆”默默地观察、揣摩,并在1999年开始将茶馆画入画中,到2018年,《茶馆》系列已经进行了20年,从未中断,该系列创作也多次在全国美展等重要展览中参展和获奖。这次“见证交通茶馆——陈安健个人作品展”就是为了让观众对黄桷坪艺术生态和交通茶馆有更深刻的认识。

Chen Anjian was born in Chongqing in 1959, who graduated from department of oil painting of grade 77 and 78, Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, which is prestigious in contemporary art history in China. However, he hasn＇t put himself in the wave of times, but keeps staying in the native old teahouse——＂Transport Teahouse＂ to observe the people and life here. In 1999, he started to draw the teahouse in his paintings, and by 2018, Teahouse Series has been carried on continuously for 20 years, which has been exhibited and has won the award of National Art Exhibition and other important exhibitions. Transport Teahouse A Testimony——Chen Anjian Solo Exhibition dedicates to give the audience a deeper understanding of Huang Jiao Ping art ecology and Transport Teahouse.
