The development of network information technology has brought about great changes in the function and form of university libraries. Modern information technology increasingly affects the traditional circulation of the library. This article discusses the impact of information technology on library circulation reading,analyzes the characteristics of library circulation reading in the information environment,and states that university libraries should correctly understand and position the circulation reading department,update service concepts,innovate service content,and improve the effective measures of using information technology.
