债券通从2017年7月运行以来，以其快捷的申请流程、投资人熟悉的操作平台、高效的境内外衔接等优势吸引着广大的境外投资者。推出1年来，境外投资者数量明显增加，投资者类型日益丰富，交易活跃度有明显的提升。为更好地吸引和便利境外投资者的参与，该文立足境外机构实务层面，就促进债券通业务繁荣发展提出系列措施建议。

Since the launch in July 2017, the Bond Connect has attracted a large number of overseas investors with its fast access process, investor-friendly operating platform, and efficient connection between domestic and overseas infrastructure institutions. In the one year following the introduction of the Bond Connect, there has been a significant increase in the number of foreign investors, the investor types have been increasingly enriched, and the trading activity has been significantly improved. To better attract and facilitate the participation of foreign investors, this article, based on the practices of overseas institutions, proposes a series of measures to promote the prosperous development of the Bond Connect.
