Three Models of Kunlun in Chuci Zhangju

《楚辞》作品中的"昆仑"皆是西北神山的指称,而王逸的注解只有部分与原文贴合。在《楚辞章句》中,王逸给出了三种不同的"昆仑"注解,这三种注解实际上是前代典籍和观念对"昆仑"解释的总合。王逸视《离骚》为经,其他《楚辞》作品为其传,所以其注解《楚辞》的一大目的就是为了证道。王逸的《章句》既以己意来约束和规范文本阐释,但文本本身又反过来限制王逸的注释,于是在阐释张力与文本限制的作用下,产生了三种不同的"昆仑"注解。

＂Kunlun＂, whenever used in Chuci, always refers to the northwest celestial mountain. However, Wang Yi does not offer the same annotation in his Chuci Zhangju. Instead, he brings forth three different annotations, which actually combine all the conceptions in previous eras. While looking upon Li Sao as the classic, Wang Yi sees the other works in Chuci merely as the interpretation or elaboration of Li Sao. Therefore, one important purpose of Wang Yi in annota- ting Chuci is to confirm the main doctrines. When he intends to unify the discourse interpretation with his own understanding, the discourse itself constrains Wang＇s annotation reversely. Hence the three different annotations are produced under the influence of interpretational tension and discourse constraint.
