Key Tasks of Vocational Education Supply-side Structural Reform in the New Era

新时期我国社会主义的主要矛盾已转化为人民日益增长的美好生活需要和不平衡不充分发展之间的矛盾。职业教育是人民美好生活需求的重要组成部分,也是实现美好生活目标的有效途径,理应率先解决发展不平衡不充分问题。分析我国职业教育发展现状与经济社会发展需求、广大民众就业需求之间存在的差距,确认新时期职业教育供给侧面临着投资结构、治理结构、师资结构、层次结构、类型结构、布局结构、专业结构、课程结构等八项重点改革任务,建议采取有效措施,积极推进职业教育供给侧结构性改革进程。

The major contradictions in our socialism in the new era have been transformed into the contradiction between the people＇s growing need for a better life and the imbalanced inadequate development. At present, uneven and inadequate vocational education directly affects the general public demand for vocational education. To meet the needs of a better life of the people and speed up the development of modem vocational education, supply-side reform should be implemented in eight aspects： investment structure, governance structure, teacher structure, hierarchical structure, type structure, space structure, professional structure and curriculum structure.
