摘要
"质量"是世界高等教育发展关注的焦点,如何保障高等教育的质量是当前中国高等教育发展的核心问题之一。学生作为高等教育的消费者与受益者,以及高等教育服务的使用者、建设者和评价者,学生有资格、有责任参与高等教育质量保障过程。英国圣安德鲁斯大学的学生通过参与大学决策管理机构,通过学术管理组织参与教学质量监察,参与或组织相关调查,明确以及学生代表职责并进行岗前培训等参与质量保障。为加强我国学生参与高校质量保障的建设,高校应营造鼓励学生参与的文化,搭建相关平台和机制,制定鼓励政策并提供培训指导。
In recent years,the topic of quality assurance in higher education(HE)has gained substantial momentum among scholars and practitioners around the world. Contemporary literature in education exhibits an apparent shift towards stakeholder-oriented approach for sustainability of higher education. With students being considered as consumers,beneficiaries,constructors and assessors of HE,emerging conceptions strongly advocate the pivotal role of students in the quality assurance process. Besides an intriguing theoretical debate,this paper presents the case of University of St Andrews for further research. Based on its practices,universities in China are encouraged to create a student engagement friendly culture,to construct the platform and mechanisms for students to engage,and to develop incentive policies and provide instruction guidance.
