Nowadays,the English flipped classroom teaching model based on multimedia database has attracted more and more people＇s attention and favor. This is because the flipped classroom teaching model shifts decision-making right of learning from teacher to student,fully affirming the subject status of the students,and enriching the contents of the English class and improving the quality of English teaching. Combining the practical experience of individuals engaged in English teaching,the author explores the application of flipped classroom teaching mode in higher vocational English reading teaching.
