This paper introduces the four-step rule for reading drawings of transition in water conveyance canal. The threedimensional simulation modeling methods for irregular shape of engineering form,such as the transition in water conveyance canal,are described through examples. Using these methods,to read drawings of the transition in water conveyance canal and establish a three-dimensional simulation model can be quickly and accurately.
