任何语言文字要持续生存和发展,就应其适应社会生活,保持大众化和现代化。侗语文的大众化和现代化是侗语文社会功能和文化功能得以充分发挥的基本条件,也是当代社会现实条件下侗语文生存和发展的必由之路。为推动侗语文的大众化和现代化,当前应开展侗语文基础理论和应用技术的研究,加强侗族社区的双语教学,开创和拓展侗族社区侗语文社会服务的领域和空间。应以州县政府为主导,侗族语文工作者和知识分子为实施主体,发动侗族群众积极参与,鼓励社会各界投入资金支持,引导和培植民族语言文化产业,从而实现侗语文的大众化和现代化。
