20世纪80年代中期到2010年,本土文学曾有过三次关于草原文学(小说)的讨论、阐释及研究,这也是有据可查的公开出版的刊物及专著中使用"草原文学(小说)"这个概念而非口头的或偶尔提及的形象性说法。文章分析和讨论了这三个概念各自的内涵、所指以及在其论述问题中的意义。

Before the mid-1980 s-2010,local literature had three discussions,interpretations,and researches on the Prairie literature（fiction）.This is also a well-documented public publication and the use of ＂ Prairie＂ literature in fiction.This concept is not a verbal or occasional representation.The article analyzes and discusses the respective connotations,meanings,and meanings of these three concepts.
