Analysis of Children Readers' Borrowing Behavior in Public Library and Collection Optimization Proposal: Based on the Data from Shanghai Library

本文介绍了上海图书馆少年儿童外借图书的馆藏结构和读者年龄分布情况,以图书的流通数据为依据,分析其外借情况和外借趋势,选择具有典型性的馆藏样本,从各大类图书在各年龄段读者中的借阅情况和在2017年度的续借行为两方面,对馆藏结构存在的问题进行分析,为少儿图书外借室未来的馆藏结构优化提供理论依据和数据支撑。

The paper introduces the overview of the circulation of children’s books in Shanghai Library, including the collection structure and the age distribution of readers. Based on the borrowing data, it analyses the current situation and trend of children’s books’ circulation, and selects typical collection samples. From the aspects of borrowing and renewal respectively, it analyses the collection structure and tries to provide theoretical foundation and data support for the future optimization of collection.
