你不是天天都会有机会与歌剧中的魔鬼面对面的。我指的是名副其实的恶魔,并非那些颓废的王室成员,或者是一个贪腐的警察局长以及迫使儿子抛弃病入膏肓的女朋友的那种令人讨厌的父亲——这些剧情我们早已见怪不怪。我所指的是,邪恶至极的化身,那些可配备上红色连裤袜甚至大斗篷的角色。

It＇s not every day in opera you come face to face with evil. I mean, real evil, not just decadent royalty or a corrupt police chief or a disagreeable dad who banishes his son＇s terminally ill girlfriend. Those things happen every day. No, I mean pure evil personified, red tights and cape optional.
