中国作为全球第二大经济体、第一大贸易国,期货市场对外开放既是推动高质量发展的内在要求,同时也是水到渠成之举.5月4日,铁矿石期货正式引入境外投资者,我国首次将已上市成熟商品期货品种实施国际化.截至5月11日,有50家境外客户参与了铁矿石期货交易,包括嘉能可、摩科瑞等产业客户以及磐石风险等机构客户.
On May 4, iron ore futures officially opened its door to foreign investors. By May 11, 50 foreign clients had been engaged in the trade, including industry customers such as Glencore and Mercuria, and wholesale clients including Palisades.
