As the excellent traditional culture in China,filial piety culture is the crystallization of Chinese wisdoms for a thousand years. It serves as the core for individual,family and social development,therefore it also plays an important role in the development of moral education in colleges and universities. It is not only the inheritance of excellent traditional culture but also the inevitable requirement of improving the moral education of college students. It is helpful to improve the moral quality of college students by making rational use of the cultural resources of morality and filial piety and carrying out moral education based on local moral education.
