Objective To observe the clinical effect of sevoflurane anesthesia applied in laparoscopic hernia repair in children. Methods 103 cases of children with laparoscopic hernia repair in our hospital from January 2017 to March 2018 were selected as research objects, and were divided into observation group(53 cases) and control group(50 cases) according to admission time and operation duration. The observation group received sevoflurane for induced anesthesia, and the control group received intramuscular injection of ketamine for induced anesthesia. The anesthetic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The sleep latency and awakening time of the observation group were significantly shorter than those of the control group, with statistical differences(P〈0.05). At 1 min after intubation and at the beginning of the operation, the heart rate and blood pressure of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group, with statistical difference(P〈0.05). No statistical difference was found between the two groups in the finger artery oxygen saturation(P〈0.05). Conclusions Sevoflurane for induced anesthesia applied before laparoscopic hernia repair can promote children to sleep in a short time, and will not greatly change the blood pressure and heart rate of children, which is beneficial to early postoperative awakening of children, and is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
