Study on Antitussive and Expectorant Effects of Different Parts of Radix Indigofera extract

目的:对雪人参提取物不同部位止咳祛痰作用进行研究,并初步筛选活性部位。方法:通过小鼠浓氨水引咳实验和酚红祛痰实验,观察止咳祛痰作用。结果:雪人参提取物的乙酸乙酯提取物对浓氨水所致小鼠咳嗽均有明显的抑制作用;能够明显增加小鼠气管酚红排泌量,与其他组比较有显著差异。结论:乙酸乙酯提取物为止咳祛痰的活性部位。

Objective： To study the antitussive and expectorant effects of different parts of Radix Indigofera extract and to preliminarily screen the active parts. Methods： the cough relieving and expectorant effects were observed through the cough inducing experiment with concentrated ammonia water and phenol red expectorant experiment in mice. Results： the ethyl acetate extract of Radix Indigofera had obvious inhibitory effect on cough caused by concentrated ammonia in mice. It can obviously increase the excretion amount of phenol red in the trachea of mice. There were significant differences compared with other groups. Conclusion： ethyl acetate extract is the active part for relieving cough and eliminating phlegm.
