关于海南省加强岛屿经济研究的思考

Some Thoughts on Strengthening Studies on Island Economy by Hainan Province

随着岛屿在世界政治、经济事务中所发挥的作用越来越大,岛屿和岛屿经济日益成为各国政府和国际学术界的关注重点.本文首先对岛屿经济体进行了基本分类,对国内外主要的岛屿机构组织和专业论坛等进行了整理概述,并归纳了全球岛屿和岛屿经济研究的基本现状,指出当前岛屿经济研究存在基础研究薄弱、学术成果总体偏少等几方面的问题.通过分析海南省这一典型的岛屿经济体加强岛屿经济相关研究的积极意义和重要性,从开展互学互鉴、发挥现有学术平台作用、成立专门的研究中心、树立陆海统筹理念等方面提出对应的工作思考和政策建议.

Island and island economy has been attracting more and more at-tentions from both governments and scholars as islands are playing bigger roles in political and economic issues internationally and domestically. The article classifies island economies into two categories and sorts out different organizations and fo-rums or meetings of islands,and points out problems and weakness of current stud-ies on island economy,such as weak basic researches,lack of academic articles and books, etc. Through analyzing the importance and significance of strengthening studies on island economy by Hainan Province as a typical sub-national island e- conomy,the article puts forward suggestions and thoughts on relative studies, in- cluding mutual academic exchanges, utilization of current forums and academic networks, establishment of specific research centers, and most importantly, con-cept setting of Land-Sea Integration or coordinated development of land and sea.
