台湾的宗教格局与宗教慈善:基于多重契约理论框架的解释

Religious Pattern and Religious Charity in Taiwan：An Interpretation Based on Multiple Contract Theory

近几十年来,和在台西方宗教相比,台湾本土宗教的发展更为迅猛和繁荣,在以不同信仰为基础的慈善实践中也是如此。基于多重契约理论框架的研究发现,经过政教之间、公民与政府之间的逐渐分离与关系重构,秉承古老禁欲主义传统的佛教、道教中所包含的更为纯粹的利他主义和普世主义,在很大程度上重塑了台湾本土宗教,并推动了以信仰为基础的现代慈善的勃兴。

In recent decades,compared to the Western religions in Taiwan,native religions has achieved more rapid and prosperous development. This is also the case in the charity practices based on different religions. Based on the multiple contract theory,the author found that after the gradual separation and relationship reconstruction between the government and religions and between citizens and the government,the even more pure altruism and universalism embodied in the ancient asceticism-upholding Buddhism and Taoism have reshaped the native religion of Taiwan to a large extent,and have promoted the prosperity of modern faith-based charity.
