Indonesia is a country with many environmental disasters, with the affects of global warming and geographical factors, the weather events such as heat waves, droughts, floods and tropical cyclones are increasing, as well as earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis and other natural disasters, meanwhile, the increase of population and the disorder development of urbanization and industrialization, and the traditional "burning" custom and other reasons, which also seriously damage the Indonesian environment, Even spread to neighboring countries, has become transnational problems. In order to cope with the increasingly serious environmental disaster, the Indonesian Government has actively engaged in the global environmental governance, put forward various environmental policies, promulgated various environmental policy, and work with the international community to carry out disaster prevention and disaster management cooperation. Although the road to environmental governance in Indonesia has achieved some success, it still has to face great challenges.
