摘要
"第四基座"位于英国伦敦特拉法加广场,是具有代表性的当代公共艺术展示平台。这一平台的产生展现了当代艺术与公共艺术之间的共生关系和复杂联系。围绕这一平台所进行的关于产生机制、作品形式、公共参与方式等等问题的研究,既有关于公共艺术的本体性问题也有关于当代艺术社会参与的普遍性问题。有关这些问题的追问对于当下中国式公共艺术实践实施无疑都是有理论价值和实践意义的。
The fourth plinthis located in Trafalgar Square in London, and is a representative platform for contemporary public art exhibition. The emergence of this platform shows the symbiotic relationship and complex connection between contemporary art and public art. The research on questions such as the production mechanism, form of works, ways of public participation and so on around this platform has both the ontological questions of public art and the universal question of the social participation of contemporary art. Asking these questions is undoubtedly of theoretical value and practical significance for the implementation and practiceof Chinese public art.
