The depth of the foundation pit is getting deeper and deeper, and the hidden dangers in the construction of deep foundation pit need to be paid attention to. A practical and effective foundation pit monitoring technique can be used to survey the construction geology and surrounding buildings of the foundation pit, while the construction of the foundation pit is convenient, and the safety of the construction of the foundation pit and the surrounding buildings can be ensured. This paper observed and researched the settlement of a deep foundation pit, expounded the technical means for monitoring the deep foundation pit and points for attention in the monitoring.
