Study of Misunderstanding from the Perspective of Stereotypical Relation

误解轻则令人捧腹,重则伤害感情,还会出现像曹操那样的误杀好人的事情,严重影响人与人之间的交际。在跨文化交际中出现文化误解,小则闹笑话,大则伤害两个国家的民族感情,重则还会引起民族冲突和战争。然而,误解又是难以避免的,作为我们现代生活快节奏的人,一旦发现误解,应对对方宽容和理解。同时,社会在发展,我们应该不断学习,积累足够的常规关系,这样我们就会少误解一些别人。

Misunderstanding, a common phenomenon in daily life, may produce slight effects such as funny jokes, or serious effects such as conflicts even wars. The paper mainly analyzes the types and the causes of misunderstanding on the basis of stereotypical relation which is proposed by Xu Shenghuan. In the light of stereotypical relation, it focuses on several factors which cause misunderstandings and aims to evoke people＇s attention to misunderstandings and reduce misunderstandings as well as maintain successful and harmonious communication.
