大学校长领导风格变迁研究——基于6位校长的个案分析

Research on the Changes of Leadership Styles of University Presidents——A Case Analysis of Six Presidents

大学校长是大学发展过程中的灵魂式人物,杰出的校长对大学的发展产生了深刻影响。本文选取华中科技大学6位校长进行个案分析,发现每位校长的领导方式和风格各具特色,但又存在一定的相关性。研究结果显示,校长的办学风格受社会宏观环境的影响,也受其个人人生经历的塑造;华中科技大学6位校长的领导风格呈现周期性交替的特点,改革型、连贯型、决裂型领导类型循环出现。

The university president is the soul of university development process,and outstanding presidents has profound impacts on the development of universities.This paper selected six presidents from Huazhong University of Science and Technology for case analysis,and found the leadership style of each president has their own characteristics,but there are also some correlations among them.It found that the leadership styles of university presidents were affected by social macro environment,and also by their personal life experience.The leadership styles of six presidents from Huazhong University of Science were in the cycle of reforming type,coherent type and breaking type.
