生活共同体所营造的日常生活世界为社会个体的自我认同提供了稳定的意义系统,个体必须借助身体参与日常生活,因此共同体的形成和运作具有身体性因素,这主要体现在身体感知是日常认知体验的重要组成部分,而且共同体的规则也会铭刻在身体之中。现代社会生活共同体的衰落过程,实际上也是身体传统价值和意义的蜕变过程。身体被整合到丰富多样的物品体系中,也被简化为抽象系统中的符号,因此遮蔽了人际互动的身体感应,降低了人们在日常生活中互助依赖的程度,于是人们从传统共同体的意义系统中转移到消费主义建构的意义系统里,身体成为消费主义开发的对象。生活共同体及其意义的重建策略之一,就是必须正视身体性元素,这样的生活世界才显得丰富、具体和真切,才能作为自我认同的意义来源。

The world of daily life,which is created by the life community,provides a stable significance system for the social individual＇s self-identification.The individual must have the aid of the body to be involved in the daily life,therefore the formation and operation of the community contain physical factors,which is mainly reflected in that the physical perception is an important part of everyday cognition and experience,and that community rules will be engraved on the body.In fact,the decline of the life community of modern society is actually aprocess of the decay of traditional value and significance of the body.The body is integrated into a rich and varied goods system,having been simplified to an abstract symbol of system,thus obscuring the physical induction of interpersonal interaction,reducing people＇s mutual dependence in daily life.And people transfer from the significance system of traditional community into the significance system constructed by consumerism.The body becomes the object of the development of consumerism.One of the reconstruction strategies of life community and its significance is to face up to the physical elements.Such a life world is rich,concrete and real,so that it can be used as the source of self-identification.
