兴隆洼文化居室葬初探

A Tentative Exploration of Indoor Burial of Xinglongwa Culture

对逝去的同伴或亲人进行掩埋,这是人类文化的特有现象。早在旧石器时代,就产生了居室埋人现象,直到近现代我国华南地区的一些土著民族仍旧沿用这种风习。兴隆沟、兴隆洼和查海遗址作为兴隆洼文化典型遗址,都有居室埋人现象。本文拟通过考古学资料结合民族学方法,对兴隆洼文化居室葬所反映的精神内涵进行探析,以期能够对先民的精神领域有所了解。

It is a unique phenomenon to human culture to bury the late friends or relatives. Early in the Paleolithic Period, there had emerged a tradition to bury the deceased indoors that has been carried forward till the modern times and observed by some indigenous peoples in Southern China. Indoor burial had been seen on Xinglonggou Site, Xionglongwa Site and Chahai Site, representative of Xinglongwa Culture.This essay intends to probe into the spiritual connotations reflected in the indoor burial of Xinglongwa Culture, by virtue of the archaeological data combined with the Ethnographic Methods, with a view to have an understanding of the spiritual realm of the ancestors.
