This is an account, by Lin Gang, of his impressions of Liu Zaifu, in which Lin talks about and discusses his close relationship with Liu as Liu＇s student as well as his friend, on top of describing Liu＇s image as a man of letters in the ivory tower as well as a traveler around the world.
