A Comparison of the Films of Youth-based Themes across the Taiwan Strait in Recent Years

透过近年青春题材电影的热闹景观,可以发现其具有很多相似性:基本改编自网络畅销小说、作者是年轻的网络写手或畅销书作家、影片主人公几乎都经历了从高中到大学的主要人生阶段,爱情和友谊更是其中的重要构成部分。但是,由于小说原著中作者文化立场的不同,主要是改编后电影导演的表现视角和电影理念的不同,加上不同演员群体的差异性演绎,使得同样的青春成长故事的讲述表现出完全不同的质地和格调。

There are many similarities that can be found in recent films of youth-based themes that are quite popular as they are basically adapted from the internet novels whose authors are young internet writers and bestselling writers, featuring protagonists that have experienced the period from middle schools to universities, with love and friendship as the important parts of these films. However, because the positions are different that the writers take when writing the novels, the angles and views of the films are different that the directors take in adapting them, and the performances are different that the actors put on, the same stories of growing up show completely different texture and style.
