This paper briefly describes the configuration of the automatic control system for the Delong 850mm hot continuous rolling production line, highlights the application of the Genius fieldbus, the data exchange between the PLC main station controller and VersaMax I/O and other Genius devices in the Genus network, the detailed configuration of each module with the GeniusNet as the main or secondary station, and PLC controller for data reading and writing.
