With the development of social economy, the ideological and political work in Colleges is becoming more and more complex and arduous. College counselors must make full use of all kinds of resources to give full play to their own professional advantages. To take counselors majoring in English linguistics as an example, it is necessary to combine the professional knowledge of their major with the routine work, cooperate closely with course teachers and make full use of second class activities to cultivate the students＇discerning ability and appreciation awareness, to create a positive and pluralistic campus culture to improve the students＇humanistic, ideological and moral quality.
