High-quality maker teachers are the guarantee of the quality of maker education. Maker teacher＇sknowledge includes the knowledge of maker learner,the knowledge of maker learning,the knowledge of makercurriculum,the knowledge of maker teaching method,the knowledge of maker teaching evaluation,the knowledge ofmaker teaching management,the knowledge of information technology and the technological pedagogical contentknowledge. Only by maintaining an open,life-long learning attitude,actively participating into the community of makereducation and achieving self-improvement and self-promotion,can a maker teacher eventually become qualified. Topromote the professional development of maker teachers,an evaluation system for maker teachers must be established tolead the continuous updating of the knowledge structure of the maker teachers;a culture of maker education must becultivated to improve the internal drive of the knowledge development of the maker teachers;maker education spaces mustbe built to help the generation of maker-teachers＇ professional knowledge;maker education practice must be carried outand development approaches that integrate knowledge and practice must be implemented;and maker educationcommunities must be set up to achieve the rapid development of maker teachers＇ knowledge.
