We collected and consulted the relevant Chinese and English literature, summed up the clinical manifestation and classification of aphasia after cerebral infarction, the possible mechanism of aphasia and the mechanism of rehabilitation, and the role of the right hemisphere in the recovery of aphasia after cerebral infarction. It is further clear that the right hemisphere plays a relatively large role in the aphasic chronic phase, which can promote the rehabilitation of aphasia.
