Research on the Reform and Innovation of Jiangmen's Social Governance System

社会治理创新是实现国家治理体系和治理能力现代化的重要环节。江门市在理顺社会管理体制、完善公共服务体系、加强社会组织培育、提高基层自治能力、创新社会管理方式等方面做了重要探索,取得了良好成效,但也存在社会治理手段单一、社会组织发育不足和公民参与不够积极的问题。要改变这种状况,必须进一步树立社会治理理念、整合区域政府职能、大力发展社会组织、改进社会治理方式等。

The innovation of social governance is an important link in perfecting the national governance system and governance modernization.Jiangmen municipal government has made some important explorations in rationalizing its social management system,improving its public service system,strengthening the cultivation of social organizations,improving the ability of its grassroots organizations’autonomy and innovating its social management mode,and has achieved good results.But there also exist some problems such as singleness of means,underdevelopment of social organizations and insufficient citizen participation.To change this situation,we must keep in mind the concept of social governance,integrate the functions of regional governments,vigorously develop social organizations,and improve the modes of social governance.
