The forthcoming of the 24^th World Congress of Philosophy （WCP） which is to be held in Beijing, 13-20 August 2018, will be tmdoubtedly one of the landmarks in its 118 year history. To welcome this event and highlight the importance of the congress, the editors of the Frontiers of Philosophy in China have coordinated this soecial theme.
