从印度到中国:丝绸之路上的佛陀降生神话图像——从五台山繁峙岩山寺佛传故事画说开去

摘要 佛陀降生神话图像初创于古印度,一开始是没有佛陀形象的图像体系,最早有佛陀形象出现的犍陀罗艺术图像代表其典型原初形态。随着佛教经由丝绸之路传入中国,佛教艺术也在西域和汉地发展兴盛,现存佛传图像主要集中于中国。中国的佛传图像呈现出多元化的特点,时间上,从魏晋南北朝绵延至明清时期,体现出以印度文化和中国文化为核心的多元文化的碰撞与融合,亦反映出大乘佛教的发展对佛教各方面的影响。空间上,从克孜尔石窟到敦煌莫高窟、云冈石窟、甘青地区藏传佛教寺院等,几乎遍布于佛教兴盛的各个地域。可以说,佛陀降生神话图像见证了佛教在丝绸之路上的传播历程。 The image of Buddha's birth myth was originally created in ancient India. At first it was an image system without the image of the Buddha.The earliest image of the Gandhara art with Buddha image represented its typical original form. As Buddhism spread to China through the Silk Road, Buddhist art also flourished in both the the Western Regions and the Han nationality, and the existing images of the image of Buddha's life are mainly concentrated in China,and it exhibit diversified characteristics. From time to time, from the period of Wei, Jin and the Northern and Southern Dynasties to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the multi-cultural collisions and fusions with Indian culture and Chinese culture as the core were reflected, which also reflected the development of Mahayana Buddhism. Impact on all aspects of Buddhism. Spatially, from the Kizil Grotto to Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, Yungang Grottoes, Tibetan Buddhist monasteries of Gan-Qing area,etc., almost everywhere in Buddhism flourished in all regions. It can be said that the Buddha's birth myth image has witnessed the Buddhist journey on the Silk Road.
