摘要
文章从出台背景、指标构成、计算方法和优长局限等方面简要回顾了国际组织提出的七个测量性别平等的指数。研究发现,这些指标体系在形成目的、价值取向和结果使用方面具有明显的共性,但在理论取向、研究视角、维度构成、指标选取、计算方法等方面存在较大差异。它们的共性主要体现在理念和目的上,但达成目的的过程和手段的分异较大。文章也提出了未来建构中国性别平等指数的初步设想。
This paper reviews seven indexes adopted by international organizations to measure gender( in) equality,including Gender Development Index,Gender Empowerment Measure,Gender Inequality Index,Global Gender Gap Index,Social Institution and Gender Index,Gender Parity Index and Gender Equality Index based on a comparison of their contexts,constituents,methods and advantages and disadvantages. It has found that these indexes share similarities in aims and value orientation,but they also differ in measurements and methodology. It finally suggests ways to create indexes to comprehensively measure gender equality in China in the future.
