东京工业大学通识教育实践模式研究

On Practice Mode of General Education at the Tokyo Institute of Technology

东京工业大学以创建"世界顶尖水平的理工科综合大学"为其长期的发展规划,并在此规划指引之下确立了学校的人才培养目标,即培养"创时代的知·技·志·和的理工人"。按照这一人才培养的目标,东京工业大学在人才培养过程中不仅需要具备完善的专业教育,而且也不可或缺健全的通识教育。经过历时73年的通识教育实践,东京工业大学成功地探索出以"通专融合"为最显著特征的独具特色的通识教育的实施实践模式,其通识教育实践为我国工科院校通识教育提供了有益的借鉴。

The Tokyo Institute of Technology uses the creation of the world’s top level of science and engineering university as its long-term development planning and establishes the goal of talent training under the guidance of planning,namely to cultivate new engineers and technicians with knowledge,skill,aspiration and harmony.According to this goal of talent cultivation,the Tokyo Institute of Technology needs not only sophisticated professional education,but also indispensable and sound general education.After 73 years practice of implementation of general education,the Tokyo Institute of Technology has explored successfully a unique general education practice mode with the most striking feature being the integration of general and professional education.The general education practice provides beneficial references for the general education in engineering colleges in China.
