Industrialized building production and the modern living intention for comfortable are often considered incompatibly. However,the Case Study House Program,which occurred in California from 1945 to 1966,was an important attempt by American architecture to integrate the industrial building production and the modern living ideal.It expected to make full use of the industrial potential of building production,and build a symbol of modern living finally. The interpretation of this history will be full of rich contemporary significance in the background of promoting the building production by industrial standard assembly.
