在内容上我们坚持内容为王,创新独特科学传播样式,从以"阅读科学也是享受"为理念、以"奇特新"为特征的"可爱的阅读",到提升科学精神和科学品质并最终确定在"探索类"周刊;在经营上,从广告盈利模式到发行减亏模式到"用政府的渠道做市场";北京科技报始终选择的是"歧异性"的发展之路。目前,北京科技报梦想的既能以提升全民族科学精神科学素养为己任,又能养活自己的独特的品牌发展之路,已经清晰可见。

We put the contents as top priority and seek the unique way for popularization of sciences. With these priorities in minds,we have changed our slogan from 'reading science is a pleasure',to 'enjoy the read in the strange,special and new',and finally to the 'Chinese discovery',which makes the newspaper a weekly magazine look with a discovery heart. We have special way of running this newspaper:having tried to get profit from advertisement and promote circulation to cover the defi cit,we are now trying to realize success in the market through the government channels. It's a never changing ideal for all the Beijing SciTech Report people that we are different from any other media. And now it's clear that what we are seeking is to take the responsibility of promoting science sense among the public while make money to stand apart by ourselves.
