My Quest on the Road of Economics Research

本文梳理总结了本人三十年来研究中国经济发展和转型问题的心得。我早期的工作集中于中国农村改革,受1988年中国政府治理通胀方式的启发,此后逐渐形成一个有别于现有的发展和转型经济学的理论体系——新结构经济学。该理论体系为现代经济学的其他领域带来了许多新的见解,也对一些现有主流理论难以解释的经济现象和争论提供了新的分析视角和答案。此外,我的其他研究主要涉及新制度经济学、经济史、中国文化复兴和经济学方法论等领域。

This paper summarizes my research on Chinas economic development and transition in the past thirty years.My early work focused on rural reform in China.Enlightened by the way Chinese government adopted to handle inflation in 1988,I gradually formulate the New Structural Economics,a theoretical framework different from the existing mainstream development and transition economics.This theoretical framework sheds light on many other fields of modern economics and provides new analytical approaches and answers to economic phenomenon and debates that are difficult to be explained by mainstream theories.In addition,my research also covered New Institutional Economics,economic history,Chinas cultural renaissance and economics methodologies.
