Experience of Professor LYU Xiong in Treating Acne

总结吕雄教授治疗痤疮的辨证论治及用药经验。吕教授认为,痤疮虽病邪袭于表,粉刺发于皮,然病根在于内,认为痤疮病机特点为郁、热、瘀。早期由于气滞湿热,气血内郁;血郁日久则生内热;燥热内灼煎熬血液成块,后期则见瘀血内阻。其总体演变过程为血郁湿热,热毒内蕴,血热瘀阻。治疗宜清热凉血,解毒散结,活血散瘀。根据具体情况的不同,采用经验方消痤饮加减,以调理患者体质,从而达到治愈痤疮的目的。

The experience of syndrome differentiation and treatment by Professor LYU Xiong in the treatment of acne was summarized. Professor LYU holds that the exterior and interior of the human body are connected with meridians and collaterals. Although acnes mainly affect the surface,and appear on the skin,they are rooted in the interior. The disease mechanism of acne is characterized by depression,heat and phlegm. In the early stage,due to qi stagnation and damp heat,qi and blood stagnate inside;blood stasis lasting for long time could result into internal heat;dry heat could dry the blood into clot and in the later stage there would be internal blockage of blood stasis. There are the blood depression and damp heat,heat toxin accumulating inside,and blood heat and blockage of stasis. The treatment should be clearing heat and cooling blood,detoxicating and resolving stasis. According to specific conditions,the experienced formula Xiaocuo Decoction should be applied with modification to regulate the body constitution of patients so as to cure this disease.
