Objective To explore the dialectical thinking of breast cancer. Methods 252 patients with breast cancer who were hospitalized and diagnosed in the outpatient clinic in our department from September 2015 to May 2017 in our department were collected. The 252 patients were divided into 7 major types. In addition, the 226 Chinese herbs involved in the study were classified into 11 categories based on the book entitled "Science of Chinese Traditional Medicine". The descriptive statistical method was applied for statistical analysis. Results The differences were statisti cally significant between the syndromes(P〈0.01 ). There was a statistically significant difference between the type of stagnation of liver-Qi and phlegm and the remaining syndromes (P〈0.005). There was no statistically significant differ- ence between the remaining syndromes(P〉0.05). The frequency of drug use analysis showed that 44 drugs were used at the frequencies above 10%. The total frequency was 4999 times, accounting for 69.61% of the total frequency of drug use. Among them, the main representatives were the drugs of dispersing the liver and rectifying Qi, the drugs of reducing phlegm and resolving masses and the drugs of tonifying deficiency. Conclusion The main application of breast cancer therapy is to disperse stagnated liver Qi to relieve depression. The drugs of tonifying Qi, reducing phlegm and resolving masses should be commonly used.
