摘要
2004年，滨海广场建成，使有150多年历史的烟台大马路走入地下。1860年，烟台有了一条与海岸线平行、宽阔平坦的马路，又因是当时路中老大，被称为大马路。1910年改名东马路，但人们仍积习难改，称东大马路。1938年恢复大马路路名，南侧与大马路平行的威海卫路、大威海街则被依次命名为二马路、三马路。
In 2004, Binhai Square was completed, leaving over 150-year-old Yantai Dama Road underground.Back to 1860, this wide and smooth road paralleled to the coastline took shape in Yantai. Because it was the biggest among all the roads at that time, it was called as Dama Road.
