Kazuo Ishiguro＇s work The Buried Giant is plotted according to the clash and conflict between Saxons and Britons in Medieval British history,and unfolds a gloomy historical picture when the nation was being shaped by multiple forces. The author shows his special historical perspective and unique way of history representation in literary imagination. By showing the relation between memory and reality,the work doubts about the authenticity of history; by juxtaposing memories in different time and spaces,the silent historical discourses are explored; by writing individual-based memories, the multiple historical voices and consciousnesses are presented.
