摘要
古典意象是互相异质的象征符号,对它们的使用不能脱离特定的语境,包括时代、环境和主体状况等。然而,在中国当代的大众文艺中,对古典意象的使用趋于同质化,脱离了语境的约束,使之不受任何时空现实性的束缚,完全服务于大众的审美期待。这种情况在大众文艺作品中屡见不鲜,在古装电视剧中尤其典型。它造成了作品中相似意象的泛滥以及作品的形式与内容脱节等后果。同质化是大众文化和现代性的产物,由市场经济、意识形态、现代人的生活和心理条件等多方面因素所决定。
Classical imageries are symbols which are heterogeneous to each other, the use of them, thus is restricted by certain context such as a- ges, surroundings and subjective conditions. However, the tendency of hom- ogenization could be found in contemporary use of classical imageries in Chi- nese popular literature and art, deprived of any restrict of the spatio-temporal reality, i. e. , the context. Imageries have been made subordinate to the aes- thetical expectation of the masses. Such situations could always be found in the works of contemporary popular literature and art, especially in ancient costume dramas. Consequently, a surfeit of similar imageries and the disjoint between form and content always appear in works. It is the aftermath of popu- lar culture that market economy, ideology, living and mental conditions cause the homogenization together. Art, therefore, would seek transcendence to sublate itself, and the new higher level of it is expectable.
