企业家精神与中国制造业企业出口持续时间

Entrepreneurship and Chinese Manufacturing Firms' Export Duration

基于中国制造业微观企业数据,通过构建企业家精神指数,采用生存分析方法实证检验了企业家创业精神和企业家创新精神对企业出口持续时间的影响。研究发现,企业家精神有利于延长中国制造业企业的出口持续时间,并且上述效应在样本期内具有持续性而且是逐步递增的;同时进一步考察了企业家精神对制造业企业出口持续时间的作用机制,发现法治水平提升和地区制度环境的改善在企业家精神的出口效应中具有显著的正向调节作用,而政府干预的强化会产生消极影响。结论预示着构建有利于发挥企业家精神的制度和法治环境对于维护企业出口的稳定意义非凡。

There is a close relationship between entrepreneurship and trade competitiveness. In this paper, we construct the index of entrepreneurship at regional level, and test the impact of business entrepreneurship and innovation entrepreneurship on manufacturing firms＇ export duration. We find that both of the business entrepreneurship and innovation entrepreneurship significantly increase the survival time of Chinese manufacturing firms, this conclusion is still valid in the long run; But when we relax the restrictions on the measurement of business entrepreneurship, its influence on finns＇ export duration is obviously weakened; Further study on the mechanism shows that the rule of law and institutional environment have significant positive moderating effects on the trade effect of entre- preneurship, while government regulation has negative effect on trade. The above conclusions show that it is important to construct a good law environment in order to extend firms＇ export duration.
