工程科技人才是最宝贵资源,是国家实施创新驱动发展战略、建设科技强国的主力军,他们不仅要具有思想道德素质、文化科学素质、劳动技能素质、身体素质,还要有心理健康素质。工程,尤其大科学工程,关乎国家富强,关乎民族振兴,关乎人民幸福,培养工程科技人才适应生活、学习、交往的能力,发展工程科技人才的智力、个性、创造性、社会性,具有特别重要的价值。提高工程科技人才的心理健康素质,心理健康教育具有不可替代性。当前工程科技人才培养,特别是工程教育专业认证在毕业要求达成度以及课程体系设计等方面存在隐忧,需要我们树立新的人才培养质量观,走出对心理健康教育的认识误区,完善心理健康教学体系。

Engineering science and technology talents play a crucial role in implementing innovationdriven development strategies and building a strong country in science and technology.Therefore,they must not only have such qualities as ideological and moral,cultural and scientific,labor skills and physical,but also mental health.Since engineering,especially ＂big science＂engineering,is vital to national prosperity,national rejuvenation and people＇s happiness,it is particularly important to cultivate the ability of engineering and scientific talents to adapt to life,study and communication and develop their intellect,individuality,creativity and sociality.Besides,the mental health quality of engineering and scientific talents should be improved for mental health education is irreplaceable.Currently,there are still some potential troubles in the talent training of engineering science and technology,especially in the graduation requirements and design of the curriculum system of the engineering education professional accreditation,on account of which a new concept of talent training quality needs to be established to step out of the misunderstanding of mental health education and improve mental health education system.
