Doubtful Points in Modern Chinese Written by Xing Fuyi and Wang Guosheng: An Correction

邢福义、汪国胜主编的《现代汉语》第二版,由华中师范大学出版社出版。虽然取得了不小的成就,但也存在不少的疑点。一是内容结构问题,主要表现在对现行汉字、现代汉语语义的安排上。二是名实关系问题,词汇与语汇的关系、语用与修辞的关系均未能对号入座。三是知识偏误问题,分别表现在现代汉语语音、现代汉语语义、现代汉语词汇、现代汉语语法等方面;在语言与话语的关系上,对口语和书面语的认识也有偏误,有时会在概念上把"语言"误解为"话语"。

The second edition of Modern Chinese written by Xing Fuyi and Wang Guosheng was published by Huazhong Normal University Press. Although great achievements have been made, there are still many doubtful points. The first is the content structure, which is mainly reflected in the arrangement of the existing Chinese characters and modern Chinese semantics. The second lies in that the relationship between words and vocabulary as well as the relationship between pragmatics and rhetoric can not be addressed. The third are errors in modern Chinese phonetics, semantics, vocabulary and grammar, etc. Besides, there are errors in the relationship between language and discourse, and the understanding of spoken and written language.Sometimes, ＂language＂ is misunderstood as ＂discourse＂ in concept.
