数学建模竞赛活动给大学生提供了一个展示综合利用数学、计算机应用等知识和技能解决实际问题的契机。引导大学生充分认识参加数学建模竞赛的意义、作用以及对将来创新创业的必性，抓好数学建模培训工作相关环节的对策研究。

In this paper, we discuss the significance of undergraduates＇ participation in mathematicalcontests in modeling and its necessity of further cultivation ofentrepreneurship and innovation. Wealso propose our opinion abouthow to improve each section in the mathematical con test in m ode ling based on the situation of our college.
